I am brand new

This blog experience will be a completely new one for me.

Although I am of course familier with myspace and facebook along with the rest of my internet obsessed generation, I never took advantage of the blog-esque features on either site. Actually, I tend to be semi computer retarded. Example, I just spent an unsuccessful 20 minutes trying to get a photograph of myself on here. Needless to say I got pretty frustrated and had to take a Sex&theCity/caffeine break before I was up to posting.

I guess for tonight's virgin blog entry I will just share a few things that are currently on my mind. I really need to get my psychology book; they ran out of it at Colloquim earlier and I have unfortunately allowed that fact to keep me from making the trip, even though I'm pretty positive it arrived several days ago. Secondly, I had a wonderful Labor Day weekend and I'm now missing friends&family from home pretty badly. Thirdly, my uncle was just diagnosed with Alzheimer's. Well correction, great-uncle, but I'm pretty close with him despite our age difference, a sort of second grandfather if you will. I'm hoping modern medicine will be able to prolong the serious effects of the diesese, but I already see noticable differences in his personality. He and his wife have been married since they were 16, and the thought of him one day not recognizing her after 59 years of marriage is quite unfathomable to me. Probably the worry of least importance, my phone has decided it doesn't want to function here in San Marcos. Calls go straight to my voicemail and I don't recieve text message or voicemails. The Cingular store here won't even look at it because, "you didn't purchase your phone at our store miss, it isn't our responsibility."

If in the upcoming days you see a burnt down lot in the retail center off 35, I didn't do it.
